Common Mode Filter Performs on Display Port Interfaces
TDK’s TCM1210U-500-2P common mode filter works as an EMI counter measure on DisplayPort interfaces, and suppresses EMI noise on DisplayPort connections between computers or audiovisual equipment and display monitors at speeds exceeding 2.25 Gb/s. A DisplayPort link in the 1.25 × 1 × 0.60 mm component uses up to four lines rated for 2.70 Gb/s each, resulting in a total transfer rate of 10.80 Gb/s. The filter offers a cutoff frequency of 8 GHz, impedance of 50 ? at 100 MHz, rated current of 100 mA and rated voltage of 10 V.
