Eighth-Brick DC/DC Converters Yield 4:1 Input



Murata Power Solutions’ UWE Series eighth-brick DC/DC converters offer 4:1 input from 9 to 36 V DC or from 18 to 75 V DC. The 22.9 × 58.4 × 9.1 mm devices exhibit a fixed output of up to 75 W, fixed output voltages from 3.3 to 24 V DC, an operating temperature from -40ºC to 85ºC without derating and isolation voltage of 1,500 V DC. Remote functions consist of on/off control, trim, and sense. Self-protection offerings comprise of pre-bias operation, input undervoltage and output short-circuit, overcurrent and overtemperature. The units suit industrial, mil/aero, networking and wireless telecom and office equipment, and show compatibility with embedded equipment, CPU cards and instrument subsystems. The instruments meet UL/EN/IEC/CAN/CSA-C22.2 60950-1, RoHS-6 and FCC RMI/EMI requirements.
