Murata Power Solutions, Inc. releases its fully isolated (2,250 V DC) UCE series of cost-effective eighth-brick DC/DC converters with fixed output voltages from 1.5 V to 12 V, output current to 40 A and output power up to 100 W. These converters have a high-density, open-frame design that uses an interleaved synchronous rectifier topology to achieve efficiency levels of over 90%. The modules accept a wide input voltage range from 36 to 75 V DC with a thermal performance and derating that enables them to operate with full-rated power at their maximum 85°C operating temperature with only moderate airflow. Typical applications include distributed power architectures, servers, plus telecoms, wireless and information technology equipment.
