Organic LED Module Features an Increased Lifetime Rating

OSD announces its OSD0283AMQV-T 2.8? diagonal QVGA Active Matrix Organic LED (AMOLED) module. This full color module has an increased lifetime rating that is now over 30,000 hours. This highly configurable display module supports multiple interface types; 18-/16-/6-bit RGB (DCLK,VSYNC,HSYNC,DE), Intel/Motorola MPU 18-/16-/9-/8-bit bus interface. The module has an overall size of 49.1 × 67.7 × 1.85 mm. The 43.2 × 57.6 mm active area supports a resolution of 240 × RGB × 320 with up to 262,000 colors. Compared to full color PMOLEDs, Active Matrix OLEDs can achieve higher typical luminance (200 cd/m² vs. 90 cd/m²), a better contrast ratio (10,000:1 vs. 1,000:1), and lower overall power consumption. They also feature 170° viewing angles and temperature independent response time of <50 µs.
