Latches Offer Dynamic Offset Cancellation

Allegro Microsystems’ A329-series Hall-effect latches feature dynamic offset cancellation that reduces the residual offset voltage caused by device package overmolding, temperature dependencies, and thermal stress. The temperature-stable devices include a voltage regulator, Hall-voltage transducer, small-signal amplifier, Schmitt trigger, and short-circuit protected open-collector output sinking up to 25 mA. The stress-resistant latches operate with an onboard regulator that has supply voltages in the 4.2 to 24.0 V range and an operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C. The devices come in a three-lead single in-line package (UA) and a SOT-23W surface mount package (LH).
