Schaefer, Inc. introduces the C2500 series of ruggedized 400 W, 3U high, VME/Eurorack compatible DC/DC and AC/DC converters. The use of industrial grade components adds to the robust nature of the design, making them suited for a variety of applications including locomotive/mobile controls and communications equipment, telecommunication systems, process control systems and power stations. The C2500 Series is available in 8 input versions from 18 to 380 VDC, as well as 115 and 230 VAC and 208 V 3 phase. They offer single outputs from 4.5 to 250 VDC. All outputs are isolated, adjustable and fully regulated to 0.2% or better (load) and 0.1% (line). All units in the C2500 series have remote sensing, overvoltage protection and current limit protection on the output. Efficiencies run up to 90%. Cooling method is natural convection. Operating temperatures available include 㪬°C to +75°C and 㫀°C to +75°C.
