Coaxial Noise Source

NoiseWave announces its NW2G-CS coaxial noise source. Available in 6, 15 and 30 dB ENRs (excess noise ratios), it is suitable for noise figure measurements and built-in test applications. The unit features a small profile housing of 0.75 inchesࡦ.5 inchesࡧ.25 inches excluding connectors, that are suitable when space is at a premium. The unit features flatness of more than 1.0 dB over the frequency range 10 kHz to 2 GHz, and it comes with calibrated cardinal ENR frequencies, and it is available with a variety of connectors. Standard operation is from VDC with a 20 mA maximum current draw. Applications include built-in test equipment, noise rigure testing, jamming and as an economical source for broadband power.
