Wireless Integrated Circuits Perform in Management System

Lansdale Semiconductor, Inc. announces single-source rights to three wireless integrated circuits (ICs) originally designed and built by Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. Lansdale will globally market and manufacture Freescale’s product lines that includes MC1350 intermediate frequency (IF) amplifiers, MC1490 radio frequency (RF) commercial amplifiers and MC1590 intermediate frequency (IF) defense/military/aerospace amplifiers. The MC1350 and MC1490 are basic building block ICs that feature wide range automatic gain control (AGC), which can be used in RF/IF audio and video amplifiers. The MC1590G is a direct-coupled, high-gain monolithic amplifier intended for use in defense, military and aerospace IF amplifiers with operating frequencies up to 150 MHz. The MC1590 incorporates an automatic gain control feature and it can also serve as an oscillator and a mixer over the same IF frequency range.
