Precision Resistor offers the PTS series of compensators/sensors. These surface mount, linear (+) TCR thermal tracking resistors function as a temperature-sensitive device in bridge circuit applications for process control systems. They can also be used as compensators to stabilize mV shifts and/or offset negative (–) drift in a critical circuit. The series, consisting of the PTS1 (0.05 W), PTS2 (0.1 W), and PTS3 (0.25 W), are available with the following characteristics: standard: 1Ω through 50 kΩ (± 1% tolerance); special: 0.1Ω through 300 kΩ (to ± 0.1% tolerance); custom: resistance tolerance: ± 1% (std.), ± 0.5%, ± 0.25%, ± 0.1%, and ± 0.05% as well as temperature range: – 65° C to +150° C.
