Solid State Amplifier
The Model 500A250 broadband, solid state amplifier from AR delivers 500 watts of power, covers the frequency range of 100 kHz to 250 MHz, and features a unique design that makes servicing the unit quicker and easier. The 500A250 joins the new "A" series family which includes the 10,000A250A, the 5,000A250A and the 2,500A250A. With high VSWR tolerance, a digital front panel, remote interface and a Class "A" design, the 500A250 is suited for EMC and RFI testing, as well as calibration of RF transducers. The new design features a hinged top cover and removable side covers — which can be opened even while the amplifier is operating — for easy access and serviceability.
