Modelithics introduces a Non-Linear Transistor (NLT) Library. The library complements Modelithics’ CLR Library of surface-mount capacitor, inductor and resistor models, and the innovative Non-Linear Diode (NLD) Library introduced last year. The NLT Library is available for use with Agilent Technologies’ Advanced Design System. With the addition of the NLT, designers using the complete Modelithics Library for Agilent ADS can improve their design success with a well-documented active and passive device model library for PCB and multi-layer board designs. With built-in substrate scalability and measurement validations including 2-tone intermodulation distortion, S-parameters, static and pulsed-IV, load- and source-pull, 1/f noise, noise parameters and power compression, NLT models provide versatility and simulation accuracy. The range of models covers LDMOS FETs for high power microwave amplifier designs up to 100 W or more, down to low-noise pHEMTs and BJTs for LNA and oscillator design.
