Comparators Offer Low Quiescent Current

Maxim Integrated Products’ MAX9060-MAX9065 comparators consume a maximum quiescent current of 350 nA at 5.5 V. The 1-mm² 4-bump UCSP- or 5-pin SOT23-packaged MAX family, including 5 variations of single comparators and a window comparator, operates in an input voltage range from 0.9 to 5.5 V over a temperature range from -40ºC to 85ºC. The MAX9060 and MAX9061 use open-drain outputs and draw their supply current from an external reference voltage ranging from 0.9 to 5.5 V. The MAX9062, MAX9063 and MAX9064 offer either a push-pull or an open-drain output, consume 1.1 µA max at 5.5 V with an internal reference of 0.2 V. The MAX9065 3- to 4.2-V window comparator features a push-pull output and consumes 1.3 µA max at 5.5 V. All of the RoHS-compliant devices feature an input common-mode voltage range from 0.3 to 5.5 V that is independent of the supply voltage.
