Maxim Integrated Products introduces the MAX19692, a 12-bit, 2.3Gs/s D/A converter. The device directly synthesizes signals with up to 1 GHz bandwidth in the frequency range from DC to more than 2 GHz. The part offers 68 dBc spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) at an output frequency of 1,200 MHz (operating in 3rd Nyquist). Operating from 3.3 and 1.8 V supplies, the MAX19692 is a current-steering DAC with 4:1 multiplexed LVDS inputs and a 12-bit converter core.
