Maxim introduces the MAX1338, a 14-bit analog-to-digital converter that offers simultaneous sampling of four fully differential channels. Channel-independent, software-programmable input ranges of 䔮, ۯ, ۬.5, and ۫.25 V need no external matched resistor networks, switches, or precision buffers. On-chip input protection provides 䔵 V of overvoltage protection regardless of the input range selected. This device is suitable for vibration analysis, multiple-channel data recorders, and optical communication equipment. Features DC performance of ۬ LSB INL and ۫ LSB DNL and AC performance of 75 dB SNR, 75 dB SINAD. The device features a 5 Mhz parallel interface, internal 2.5 V reference, and internal conversion clock. This device samples at 150 ksps per channel and operates on a 5 V supply.
