DPDT Diversity Switch

M/A-COM announces a RoHS-compliant DPDT (double-pole/double-throw) diversity switch, MASWSS0190, designed for applications that require high linearity and isolation. The MASWSS0190, with its low leakage current, is a high-power switch that maximizes system linearity performance while simultaneously reducing DC power consumption. Typical applications for the switch include WLAN IEEE 802.11a and 802.11b/g systems that employ two antennas for transmit and receive diversity as well as cordless phones and base stations. The DPDT switch is designed to maintain high linearity up to 6.0 GHz. It is designed to have power-handling performance of 33 dBm P1dB, typical insertion loss of 0.70 dB, isolation of 43 dB and a maximum leakage current of 10 uA.
