Two Next Generation Digital Narrowband (NXDN) options are now available for Anritsu's S412D LMR Master Land Mobile Radio (LMR) handheld analyzer. With the options installed, the S412D LMR Master can be used by field technicians to effectively, easily, and efficiently measure NXDN signals during the deployment, installation, and maintenance of wireless networks. Both the NXDN Tx Signal Analyzer Option (part #0530) and NXDN Talk-Out Coverage Option (part #0532) support the 6.25 kHz and 12.5 kHz bandwidths. This allows the analyzer to accurately measure the narrow 6.25 kHz modulation format used in existing NXDN systems, as well as be used in future narrowband applications after the current 12.5 kHz spectrum becomes full. In addition, Anritsu has developed new GPS enhanced frequency accuracy for the S412D LMR Master. When the GPS option is used, frequency accuracy is improved to 120 ppb. The superior accuracy helps the S412D LMR Master support testing of P25/LSM (Linear Simulcast Modulation) repeaters.
