Vector Multiplier

The ADL5390 is a dual channel RF vector multiplier, for operation over an input frequency range from 10 MHz to 2.7 GHz. The device enables the user to provide two independent input signals. If the two input signals are applied in quadrature, the multiplier enables continuous and independent amplitude and 360° phase adjustment capability. With two independent input signals the ADL5390 can combine channels or switch from one channel to another for use in diversity radio transceiver control. The gain and phase capability control is augmented through a broadband Cartesian I/Q interface. The I and Q interface provides a full power signal bandwidth of 230 MHz which can be driven single ended or differentially, with a 𫕜 mV full scale input.
