The MathWorks announces the availability of Simulink® 6, software for simulation and embedded system development. The software brings model-based design to complex projects encompassing large models and multiple design teams and improves the process for design, implementation, and verification within and across workgroups. New capabilities in Simulink for controls, signal processing, and communications support a broader range of applications. The features enable faster development cycle times, eliminate manual coding errors, and facilitate innovation and exploration in control, signal processing, and communication system development. The new version enables Simulink users to write algorithms using a subset of the MATLAB language and automatically generate embeddable C code using MathWorks Real-Time Workshop.
