NDK America, Inc. announces its NT2016SB series, an SMD TCXO measuring 2.01.6 mm with a height of 0.8 mm maximum. These oscillators exhibit a tight frequency stability of 0.5 ppm over the a broad operating temperature range. They are available in custom frequencies and in the standard popular frequencies of (16.367667, 16.368, 16.369, 19.2, 26 and 38.4 MHz). The oscillators operate on a low supply voltage range of +1.8 to +2.8 V DC 0.1 V, while drawing 1.5 mA maximum with a clipped sine output level of 0.8 V (P-P) minimum. Aging characteristics are 1 ppm maximum per year. The device also features an enable/disable function that allows the deactivation of the oscillation circuit when operation is unnecessary, delivering reduced power consumption to the system.
