TCXOs Exhibit Tight Frequency Stability
Targeting GPS, PND, and cellular phone handset applications, NDK’s NT2520SA series SMD TCXO (Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator) exhibits very tight frequency stability of ۪.5 ppm over the broad operating temperature range of 㪶 to +85°C. Available in frequencies ranging from 13 to 38.4 MHz and popular GPS frequencies of 13, 16.368, 16.369, 16.8, 19.2, 24.5535, 26, 27.456, and 38.4 MHz, the oscillator measures 2.5 × 2.0 mm with a height of 0.8 mm max. and weight of 0.013 g. The RoHS-compliant NT2520SA operates on a low supply voltage range of +2.4 to 3.2 V DC ۪.1 V while drawing 1.5 mA max with an output level of 0.8 V (P-P) minimum. Applications include GPS, in-car navigation, vehicle tracking, and emergency road support systems.
