Wireless LAN Node Module

The highly integrated DPAC Airborne™ 802.11b Wireless LAN Node Module allows OEMs to wireless–enable their solutions, in markets that include transportation, medical, industrial control and automation, point-of-sale, security, Homeland Security and military. Incorporating a web server that permits "drop–in" LAN and Internet connectivity, the Airborne Module includes a radio, baseband processor, application processor and software. The Airborne Module features a small footprint, making it easy to embed into new or existing designs. It is interoperable with 802.11b and 802.11g access points. The module's built–in TCP/IP stack, Real–Time Operating System (RTOS) and application software provide embedded devices with instant LAN and Internet connectivity. The module offers digital and analog I/O ports, and supports multiple embedded serial interfaces that include high–speed serial UART, I2C and SPI.
