Accurate Under-Voltage System Monitoring Packaged in 8-lead SOIC and 8-lead MSOP Manual Reset and Watchdog Timer

Catalyst Semiconductor, Inc. expands its product line with the CAT705, CAT706 and CAT813 voltage supervisors for monitoring the power supply (Vcc) status of a microprocessor, microcontroller, ASIC or other system processors. The CAT706 has a threshold voltage of 4.40 V, and the CAT705 and CAT813 have a threshold voltage of 4.65 V. In addition to a manual reset and a watchdog timer included on all three devices, the CAT813 offers an active-high reset function, and the CAT705 and CAT706 offer an active-low reset function. All three supervisors are available in 8-lead SOIC and 8-lead MSOP packages, and they are pin-for-pin compatible with MAX705, MAX706 and MAX813L ICs.
