Cirronet announces developers' kits for its WIT2450 2.4 GHz OEM module, the company's OEM module for product design engineers. The modules provide communications in a range of settings. The module features the company's patented frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) technology. The modules are suitable for factory automation, supervisory control and data automation (SCADA), medical telemetry, mining vehicle control, and fleet management. The WIT2450 provides the same 460.8 kbps data rate and performance as the WIT2410, the company's module for mission-critical applications, and adds a 250 mW transmit power to 10 mW and 100 mW levels.
