Available in Flash memory densities of 32-, 256- and 512-Kbytes, Atmel® Corporation’s SAM7SE microcontrollers include an external bus interface (EBI) that provides access to massive amounts of external NAND Flash, SDRAM, CompactFlash®, SRAM and ROM storage. The ability to efficiently store and retrieve over a gigabyte of data makes SAM7SE MCUs suited for data logging applications. The EBI on AT91SAM7SE MCUs supports 32-bit NAND Flash, SDRAM and CompactFlash memories in TrueIDE mode.
