DC/DC Converters Provide 120 W of Power While Reducing Dissipated Heat 50%

SynQor has expanded its MilQor® product line of 270 V input DC/DC converters and complementary EMI filters which have been designed specifically for high-reliability applications. The MQFL-270 series of DC/DC converters utilizes SynQor's field-proven, high-efficiency synchronous rectification technology to achieve breakthrough efficiency levels in excess of 88%. This effectively reduces the dissipated heat by half as compared to other 120 W converters in the industry standard full-size (FL) package. Fully encased using SynQor's QorSeal™ technology, the MQFL-270 series is constructed to withstand and survive the harsh environments and long-term storage requirements of avionics, missile and other flight applications. The devices operate at full power from -55°C to +125°C and accept continuous input voltages of 155 to 400 V while permitting higher transient input voltages of 475 V for 1 second.
