Send Messages at Voice Speed

Pacific DataVision, a leader in instant voice Internet messaging platforms, empowers field workers and mobile executives with its NextMail® Push to Talk service as part of its advanced Internet-based voice messaging platform. This next generation messaging solution allows Push to Talk-enabled cellular phone users the ability to send emails anywhere in the world by simply speaking their message.

NextMail, using Push To Talk functionality found on Sprint Nextel devices, allows users to send an email by speaking their message instead of typing it. Users simply select a recipient from the phone, press the PTT button and speak their message. This voice message is sent directly to the recipient as an email attachment, which can be opened and listened to with a single mouse click. Once listened to, the recipient can respond with a text messagege.

The efficiencies built into the NextMail solution make it extremely valuable for customers in a wide range of industries, especially those in the cable, construction, utility and telecommunications fields. NextMail's message tracking capabilities, including time-and-date stamps, gives users a seamless way to record and deliver important messages. It also provides a way to significantly improve communication between external service teams and internal dispatchers/representatives when utilized as a workforce solution.

With NextMail, field teams can easily report installations and service calls by simply sending a NextMail to their dispatchers' shared email box. These messages can have a pre-programmed subject line to further increase the speed at which information is shared.

When field technicians activate a service in a customer's home they can simply send a NextMail message. All messages delivered are time/date stamped and stored online for record-keeping and accountability.
