Pacific Wireless introduces the 2.4 GHz circular polarized antenna. The CP24-12 features a tight 37° beamwidth at 12 dBi. The outdoor antenna is equipped with a standard N Female connector and stainless steel adjustable tilt bracket. The CP24-12 is DC grounded for lightning protection. The Circular Polarized (CP) Antenna systems offered by the company are constructed of an aluminum alloy backplate with UV protected plastic radome. The antenna is right hand circular polarized (RHCP) to communicate with a wide variety of popular circularly polarized base station antennas available on the market. Because of the antenna’s high gain, it is also useful as a point to point antenna. Circular polarization is effective at minimizing multipath and also has been proven effective at improving signal in installations where true line of sight is not possible. This technology also improves penetration through obstructions such as trees.
