Rohde & Schwarz presents its full-compliance EMI test receiver R&S ESCI for all civil standards. The receiver meets the requirements of the EMC basic standard CISPR 16 1 1 in the frequency range 9 kHz to 3 GHz. The receiver includes an average detector that satisfies the CISPR 16 1 1 requirements. This detector offers modified time constants that allow a more accurate measurement of interference pulses occurring at low repetition rates. In test receiver mode, the measurement bandwidths 200 Hz, 9 kHz, 120 kHz, and 1 MHz are selectable. In spectrum analyzer mode, resolution bandwidths from 10 Hz to 3 MHz are available for optimized sweep speed. Channel filters with bandwidths from 100 Hz to 5 MHz make for high selectivity in the case of densely occupied channels. The instrument features a specified total measurement uncertainty of <1 dB with preselection and <0.5 dB without preselection in spectrum analyzer mode.
