Peel-A-Way removable terminal carriers from Advanced Interconnections Corp. are available in nonlinear configurations. The RoHS-compliant polyimide film carriers are offered in a variety of shapes, patterns and pin spacing to suit diverse through-hole or press-fit applications. Standard socket terminals accept leads as small as .010 inches (.25 mm) and as large as .102 inches (2.59 mm) and are available with optional solder performs. The carriers feature a lightweight, ultra-low-profile insulator (only .005 inches or 0.13 mm thick), suitable for automated pick-and-place. Unique configurations with random pin patterns and multiple terminal styles on a single carrier can be designed to meet application-specific requirements. Cutouts can be included to provide for component clearance or heat dissipation.
