Vectron International's TX-402 Temperature Controlled Crystal Oscillator (TCXO) is part of the company's new "Green Products initiative". This latest TCXO delivers the performance of an Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO) with significant reductions in current consumption. The TX-402 consumes 15 times less current than an OCXO with comparable performance, making it ideal for applications that require the stability of some OCXOs but need to have lower overall power consumption. Specific features of the TX-402 include: Current Consumption of less than 12 mA; temperature stability ±70 ppb over -20°C to +70°C; ±140ppb over -40°C to +85°C; a frequency Range 6.4 MHz to 26 MHz; warm up time is a few seconds vs. minutes of comparable product OCXOs; and Stratum 3 OCXO equivalent with reduced current consumption.
