Hittite Microwave Corporation introduces four Active x2 Frequency Multiplier modules which provide output frequency coverage from 6 to 46 GHz. Each of these Active x2 Frequency Multipliers provide high output power, and excellent fundamental and sub-harmonic suppression for Microwave Communications, RADAR, Test Equipment and general laboratory applications. The HMC-C031, HMC-C032, HMC-C033 and HMC-C034 are broadband Active X2 Multipliers utilizing GaAs PHEMT technology and packaged in miniature hermetic 41.66 × 27.59 × 8.50 mm connectorized modules. When driven with a +3 dBm signal, these active X2 frequency multipliers deliver between +13 dBm and +17 dBm of output power, with Fo and 3Fo isolations from 12 to 30 dBc with respect to the output signal level. The product’s frequency multipliers are also ideal for LO multiplier chains, exhibiting SSB phase noise as low as 𤩼 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset.
