Hittite announces the release of four wideband GaAs MMIC PHEMT distributed amplifiers in 5 × 5 mm SMT packages that cover test equipment, military ECM/EW, fiber optic and microwave radio/VSAT applications from DC to 20 GHz. Across the product line the small signal gain ranges from 13 to 17 dB with output P1dB performance from +14 to +26 dBm and noise figure as low as 2.5 dB. All offer 50Ω inputs and outputs. The products include the HMC462LP5, a low noise distributed amplifier, the HMC463LP5, a low noise distributed AGC amplifier, the HMC464LP5, distributed power amplifier, and the HMC465LP5, a distributed driver amplifier.
