L-Band VCO Yield Low Phase Noise

Z-Communications’ CLV1750A-LF L-band VCO yields a typical phase noise of -104 dBc/Hz at 10 KHz offset and typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -15 dBc. The RoHS-compliant component operates from 1,690 to 1,810 MHz with a tuning voltage range from 0.50 to 4.50 V DC and a typical tuning sensitivity of 50 MHz/V. The 0.50” × 0.50” × 0.22” MINI-packaged VCO delivers a typical output power of 5 dBm from a 5 VDC supply while drawing 27 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85ºC.
