Z-Communications, Inc. announces its lead free, RoHS compliant, single frequency coaxial resonator oscillator (CRO2741ALF) in S band (2741 MHz), offering low phase noise performance of –115 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. Their design offers a linear tuning sensitivity of 9 MHz/V (typ.), and it covers the band between 0.5 V to 4.5 V. It delivers 7.5 dBm output power (typ.) at 5 VDC supply, while drawing 19 mA (typ.) over the extended operating temperature range of -40° C to 85° C. This VCO is suitable for applications that require high output power and optimal phase noise performance, including automated surface mount assembly and reflow. It is available in tape-and-reel packaging for production requirements.
