Digital Repeaters Feature Small Hardware Packages

Powerwave Technologies, Inc. introduces its family of Nexus RT digital repeaters for commercial frequencies. Optimized for indoor and outdoor use, they increase the coverage and capacity of existing wireless networks, and they are deployable on existing infrastructure, reducing zoning and permitting requirements. The repeaters provide high quality coverage close to the mobile user to ensure that 3G and 4G capabilities can be fully realized within the coverage area. A high level of flexibility enables the application of the repeaters in many indoor environments such as subways, airports, office buildings, shopping malls, stadiums and other large venues. Key features include support for multiple GSM carriers, precluding the need for expansion boxes, a "single box" CDMA solution and WCDMA support in 850 MHz and 1,900 MHz operating bands.
