Base Station RF Front-End Design Help from Richardson Electronics
The newest trio of LNAs from Avago Technologies is now available for use in today’s most challenging RF front end designs. Each of these three LNAs provides enhanced RF performance while also enabling space and cost savings for both new and redesigned wireless infrastructure base stations (BST). The MGA-633P8, MGA-634P8, MGA-635P8 feature:
* Ultra-low noise figures – 0.37 dB; 0.44 dB; and 0.56 dB, respectively
* Compact footprint with low profile – 2.0 x 2.0 x 0.75 mm3 8-pin QFN package
* High Gain; in the 17.4 dB - 18 dB range
* High Linearity – P1dB roughly 22dBm with OIP3 > 35 dBmbr>br>
* GaAs E-pHEMT Technology (0.25 µm)br>br>
* RoHS Compliantbr>br>
The 633P8 is designed for optimum use between 450 MHz and 2.0 GHz, the 634P8 handles the 1.5 to 2.3 GHz frequency spectrum, and the 635P8 is designed to be used with frequencies between 2.3 and 4.0 GHz. Wireless infrastructure applications for these devices include LTE, WiMAX, WiBro, UMTS, GSM, and CDMA.br>br>
