Emerson Network Power announces its expanded NTS line of 500-W digitally-controlled power supplies with the addition of the NTS505 and NTS508. Intended primarily as medium power front-end units for distributed power systems, NTS500 series AC/DC power supplies offer OEMs optimal power density in a compact 4? × 7? footprint. These power supplies are suitable for use in information technology equipment and light industrial systems. They are also available with medical approvals (NTS500-M series) for applications such as patient monitoring systems and portable medical equipment. The power supplies generate a tightly regulated 24 V and 48 V output, respectively, that can be used to directly power boards fitted with multiple non-isolated DC/DC converters.
