Keithley Instruments’ Model 2820A Vector Signal Analyzer provides a 40MHz signal acquisition bandwidth with a frequency range of 400 MHz to 4 GHz or 400 MHz to 6 GHz. It offers improved speed and enhanced measurement performance over earlier analyzers, for testing to today’s high throughput, complex modulation, and wide bandwidth standards. It can tune to new frequencies in just 250µs 2 to 3 times faster than any other analyzer, minimizing total transmitter test time. A new technique allows transferring I,Q data via USB at speeds better than 100Mb/s — 25 times faster than previous analyzers. The instrument’s new synthesizer design ensures excellent low phase noise performance.
