Keithley Instruments’ Model 2308 portable device battery/charger simulator is a dual-channel battery- and charger-simulating power supply. The device maintains a stable output voltage in response to pulse loads with a transient voltage drop of <90 mV and a transient recovery time of <35 µs when load currents change by a factor of 10 or greater. The simulator can change range and make a power line cycle measurement in 27 ms with current ranges from 5 A to mA and resolutions from 100 to 0.1 µA. The product integrates A/D technology to measure load currents at 50 µs, as well as 4-wire sourcing and remote sensing for voltage sourcing in R&D and production testing.
