Murata Electronics'EVC series multilayer monolithic ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) target the power electronics market and work in advanced technology vehicles. The 32 (L) × 40 (W) × 3.7 mm (T) products have a max. rated capacitance value rated at 630 VDC and an effective capacitance of 12 µF at 400 VDC. The devices offer allowable ripple current of 20 Arms at 20 kHz with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 750 V and maximum operating temperature of 125°C. The components include lead-free termination, leads, re-flows, oldering compatibility and resistance to thermal cycling.
