Model CEC-458C bandpass filter from Communications and Energy suppresses interference on TVRO systems caused by microwave altimeters (4.2 to 4.4 GHz) and coastal radar (3.5 to 3.6 GHz). Passband is less than 1 dB insertion from 3.7 GHz to 4.2 GHz. This unit measures approximately 5.25 inches× 1.5 inches× .75 inches and is installed in the coaxial line between the LNA and the downconverter or block downconverter. Input and output connectors are 50Ω, type SMA standard.
