Modular System for Wireless Receiver Test
Spirent Communications plc announces its SR5500 wireless channel emulator that is used to test wireless receivers that help to limit deployment problems.
The emulator’s flexibility meets test requirements across wireless technologies without sacrificing performance or ease of use. Building blocks can be added to permit up to 8 RF I/O ports carrying 16 digital channels, all controlled by a single user interface. It emulates the wireless air interface, re-creating RF fading and noise effects for testing of wireless receivers, and it provides a clean test channel and accurate fading of technologies such as HSPA, EV-DO, E-UTRA (LTE) and WiMAX.
