Renaissance Electronics’ new design approach for a modular switch matrix system contains a 3 × 4 configuration with programmable attenuation paths supporting Wi-Fi and WiMAX validation test criteria. The matrix handles up to 30 dBm of composite RF power level to perform both Tx and Rx related measurements. The UUT ports measures faults in multichannel MIMO devices in direct mapped mode at 70 dB isolation, feed into a programmable 91.5/0.5 dB LSB digital step attenuator, and performs parametric testing on the RF power levels.
