Aepona Honored In Eighth Annual International Business Awards
Aepona has earned a Distinguished Honoree medal in the International Company of the Year – Telecom category of the 2011 International Business Awards. The International Business Awards are the only global, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in business.
Nicknamed the Stevie for the Greek word “crowned,” the awards will be presented to honorees at a gala event on Tuesday, 11 October in the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Honorees were selected from more than 3,000 entries received from organizations and individuals in more than 40 nations.
Aepona’s Universal Service Platform (USP) adds mobile intelligence to cloud computing by providing new ways for all stakeholders in the mobile cloud value chain to quickly and easily monetize mobile-based cloud computing and cloud-based service offerings. This includes – from mobile operators, mobile cloud providers, and content providers through to application developers, enterprises, and enterprise solution providers. Aepona’s USP was selected by Neustar for the launch of its Intelligent Cloud Services which gives application providers simple access to network assets across multiple operators, and by the GSM Association for its Canadian launch of the world’s first OneAPI-based commercial trial. GSMA OneAPI is an initiative that makes it simple for application developers to access the network and billing assets of multiple operators.

Honorees were determined through two rounds of judging by close to 200 professionals worldwide.
