New Durable USB Connector Ideal For the Most Challenging, High Stress Applications

USB connectorSpectrum Advanced Specialty Products announces a new ruggedly constructed USB connector, featuring an enhanced design that meets MIL immersion and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) seal requirements. Able to connect to USB 2.0 or 1.1 ports, the heavy-duty design of the USB connector is ideal for demanding, high stress applications.

Spectrum's latest USB connector is a Type A, right-angle mounted connector with current ratings of 1.5 Amps, a contact resistance up to 30 mO and an operating temperature range between -40 ºC and +105 ºC. Additionally, this connector meets seal requirements of IEC-60529, Code IP67 on PCB side, as well as immersion requirements per MIL-STD-810F, Method 512.4 to 20 meters (unmated).

Ideal for demanding applications in the military, communications, medical, industrial and computing industries, Spectrum's rugged USB connector is also RoHS compliant.

Pricing begins at $60, but is dependent upon quantity and configuration.
