CDE’s MLC RF clad capacitors, SMT types MCM & MIN, successfully pass a guaranteed minimum 5 mm flexure using the stringent automotive electronics council test procedure AEC-Q200, method 005. The remarkable robustness of these capacitors is attributed to their compatible COE with FR4 board material, a flexible dielectric plus rugged clad construction. These reliable MLC capacitors allow the use of larger physical sizes required for high voltage, high Q capacitors in high frequency applications.
