Renata Batteries is now offering their lineup of lithium manganese dioxide bare cells with tabbing in horizontal surface mount configurations. The surface mount style is the latest addition to Renata's family of high quality, high capacity CRxxxx lithium primary batteries and battery holders. Renata Swiss made batteries are designed for applications requiring that the battery be capable of withstanding a wide industrial temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. Renata's surface mount batteries have solderable tabs made of Isotan® metals (54% Cu, 44% Ni, Mn) and are suitable for PCB wave soldering or hand soldering. They are suited for use in a variety commercial and consumer OEM applications such as real-time clocks, memory backup, security systems, medical devices, and RFID.
